Business Advantage: You Could Be Networking!

Grow Your Business Through Quality Business Referrals. Founded in 2004, Business Advantage BNI is a fast-growing chapter that helps members increase their sales through structured word of mouth referrals. We take the time to get to know each other, to build trust, and to learn about each other's business. And we seem to have a good time along the way.

Our Meetings
We start promptly at 7:30 AM each Tuesday morning and respect each member's time by finishing no later than 9 AM. We structure the meeting to allocate time each week for the sharing of referrals, for giving testimonials, and for gaining an in-depth understanding of each other's business. Each of us knows what an ideal referral is for the other members, and we carry that information with us to our business and personal contacts throughout the week. We welcome visitors, and always take the time to warmly greet and learn about them.

Our Location
We meet for breakfast at A Cow Jumped Over the Moon in Beverly Hills (421 N. Rodeo Drive). Validated valet parking is provided or B.H. Public Parking structure (more info under "find us").

BNI (Business Network International) is the largest business referral organization in the world with more than 5,330 chapters in 42 countries world-wide. In 2008 BNI chapters passed almost 5.5 million qualified referrals, worth an estimated $2.2 billion in business generated worldwide!

BNI was started in 1985 by Dr. Ivan Misner, a management consultant who specialized in strategic planning and organizational development. As a business consultant, Dr. Misner received most of his business through referrals. He saw the need for a different type of business referral groups than those currently existing. So he decided to form one that was structured; focused on doing business; and had an emphasis on positive reinforcement and support.

BNI is different from other business groups. In BNI, only one person per business classification is allowed to join a chapter. At chamber of commerce, rotary club, and professional association events, any number of attendees can offer overlapping products and services. In a BNI chpater, members never compete with one another for quality referrals.

Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you. All your fellow members carry several copies of your business cards with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services, they hand that person your card and recommend you. It's as simple as that!

It's simple because it's based on the proven concept of "what goes around, comes around." If I help you, you'll help me and we will both benefit as a result. Would you like to increase your business by 20%, 30%, 50% or as much as 100%? You can see results like this! Many have. Some participants have added as many as 50 new clients in the first 2 years.

Successful businesses depend on "word of mouth" advertising. This is the best and most cost-effective form of advertising possible. It does so by providing an environment in which you develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.
